Absolutely agree. I Got It, Track 10, Tears… honestly literally every song is perfect. I absolutely love it from start to beginning, glad you enjoy it as well!

For a while there, I genuinely thought Hyperpop was just what they called synth music in the ’80s when everyone had shoulder pads.

If Charli is indeed the genre-defining force here, I’ve got some serious catching up to do.

She indeed is! Charli didn’t invent Hyperpop (for that you might check out SOPHIE or PC Music) but played a huge role in bringing it to the mainstream and shaping its further sound. If you’re curious I would recommend Pop 2, then her self-titled album and how i’m feeling now. All of them are cornerstones of Hyperpop‘s evolution.
