YES! Something I’m definitely going to consider doing now I’m on Substack - I would go in accordance with the number that album is on my list, starting with #1 Ashlee Simpson: Autobiography, #2 Twenty One Pilots: Blurry face, #3 Usher: Confessions, etc etc, and give a full track by track analysis, about what tracks I like, what tracks I don’t like, paste a picture of the album in, all in a long form newsletter 😊

I think that’s a good idea. It makes it easy to read and understand for the reader. You could even create categories on your Substack homepage where you can put them.

That would be worth doing. How do you do that? And yes, because I’m very passionate about my work being easy and more understandable to read

When you publish an article, you need to add at least one tag to the article. Those tags are then used to find your article. Once you then have an article, you can go into your dashboard and into settings. Under Layout or Publication Settings (something like that), you will find all your tags and there you can then also set tags to be fixed on your homepage. As example, if on pc/tablet you go on my page you will see the categories Pop music, Album Reviews and Deep Dives.

Great advice! I’ll make sure I add some easy to find tags then when it comes to publishing my first article 😉

You should definitely do. I would love to read the reviews and see which albums you have. I also think that would be an awesome structure for the articles ☺️

It would be an awesome insight into my album collection - I would first have to draft it out on paper to see how it would look, make sure I’m doing it right, etc. I have 300 and some I don’t even listen to as often as I would like, so I should maybe listen to an album once a week or so, draft out a review and start my first proper post. Feel free to like and comment once you’ve read it 😃 because I’m so creative

I would love it, can’t wait to read it. I think you would do amazing, and 300 albums are endless possibilities 😄

To make it even more interesting, I may even base it on the category I have that album in (because I categorize them; with one category individual based on albums by individual acts only, and variety, based on compilations that contain different tracks and artists) and put into a really detailed review
